高層ビル街に包まれた夜景ロケ地｜公園通り（新宿オークシティ公開空地）

東京都新宿区にある「公園通り（新宿オークシティ公開空地）」は、高層オフィスビル群の間に整備された公開空地エリアです。深夜帯でも街の光が絶えず、都市の静けさと人工的な光景が共存するロケーションでした。

“Koen-dori” at the Shinjuku Oak City public open space is an urban plaza area surrounded by high-rise office towers in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Even late at night, the city remains illuminated, creating a location where urban silence and artificial light coexist.

この場所でまず印象的なのは、直線的に伸びる歩道と、均一に配置された街路灯の光です。タイル舗装や植栽の整備感が強く、東京の再開発エリア特有の無機質な美しさを感じました。

One of the most striking features is the long linear sidewalks illuminated by evenly spaced streetlights. The tiled pavement and carefully maintained greenery create the clean, inorganic beauty characteristic of Tokyo’s redeveloped districts.

周囲にはガラス張りの高層ビルが立ち並び、夜になると無数のオフィス明かりが背景を埋め尽くします。近未来的でありながら、人通りが落ち着く時間帯にはどこか孤独感のある空気も漂っていました。

特に印象的だったのは、広く取られた歩道空間と、道路沿いに続く樹木のシルエットです。光と影が均一に伸びるため、人物を歩かせるだけで都会的な映像表現が成立しやすい環境になっています。

Particularly notable are the spacious pedestrian walkways and the silhouettes of trees lining the streets. The consistent patterns of light and shadow make even simple walking shots feel cinematic and urban.

また、車道と歩道の距離感が近く、タクシーや車のライトが常に画面へ流れ込むため、都市の動きを自然に取り込むことができます。静止した空間でありながら、街全体が呼吸しているような感覚がありました。

The close relationship between roadway and sidewalk allows headlights and traffic movement to naturally enter the frame. Although the space itself feels calm, the surrounding city constantly feels alive and moving.

周辺には階段やスロープ、公開空地特有の開放的な導線も多く、カメラポジションを変えることで画の印象が大きく変化します。オフィス街でありながら生活感が抑えられており、スタイリッシュな都市描写に適したロケーションでした。

The area also features stairways, sloped walkways, and open spatial layouts unique to public plazas, allowing compositions to change dramatically depending on camera position. Despite being an office district, the lack of residential atmosphere makes it ideal for stylish urban visuals.

全体として公園通り（新宿オークシティ公開空地）は、「都会の夜景」「ビジネス街の静寂」「近未来的な東京」といった空気感を求める作品に非常に適したロケーションでした。MVや刑事ドラマ、ナイトシーン中心の映像作品との相性を強く感じます。

Overall, Koen-dori at the Shinjuku Oak City public open space is an excellent location for productions seeking nighttime cityscapes, quiet business districts, and futuristic Tokyo aesthetics. The atmosphere feels especially well suited for music videos, detective dramas, and urban night scenes.
